how it works?

Make

5.jpg

You get to make your  own TUB-Ukulele, from a spread tub and a piece of wood, and fishing line for strings. (We provide all the materials)

Decorate and Learn to Play

2.jpg

You'll be amazed and amused, as once you've customised and decorated your fully functional, tunable and playable TUB-Ukulele, you'll learn how to play some songs.

Perform

3.jpg

You'll become a TUB-Uke Rock Star, performing with The Utterly Butterly Band to an audience of invited guests to finish the day.

Curriculum Support

Age Groups

1.jpg

The project works best with Year 3 upwards, although we can work with younger. Tying knots on strings is difficult for little fingers, so any support staff available on the day are most welcome!

Number of Participants

6.jpg

In a school day, we can work with up to 90 participants (depending on the ages/abilities of the children). We can work with clusters of schools, who all come together for a massed TUB-Uke performance. We’re happy to negotiate for block bookings.
